Call For Applications

SHORT COURSES IN:

  1. Management of Land Acquisition, Resettlement and Rehabilitation (MLARR)
  2. Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
  3. AutoCAD Civil3D

Background: These courses have been designed to address the diverse needs of professionals and practitioners involved in Land Management and Geospatial Sciences and related programs. Serving as a gateway to acquiring specialized knowledge, practical skills and professional development. The courses have been developed in consultation with the personnel from the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development (MLHUD) and World Bank Consultant. These are highly practical and hands-on programs targeting professionals in the land sector both in Government and Private practice.

Goal: To equip professionals with practical knowledge and skills in the Management of Land Acquisition processes, GIS and CAD Civil3D
Course Duration: These courses are conducted for 90 Hours, broken down into modules and they are tailor-made

Target Group: The courses target professionals working in the Land Sector related Departments (MLHUD, MWE, UNRA, NWSC, UMEME, UETCL, KCCA, and ULC etc.), NGOs like UNHCR, GIZ and the general private sector

Qualification: Applicants should have a minimum of certificate in a relevant disc
Method of Delivery: The Course will be delivered through lectures, seminars, focus group discussions, group course works, documentaries, case studies and brainstorming sessions.
Date of commencement: 15th February 2025
Award: A certificate will be awarded to participants who successfully fulfil the requirements.

Course Fees

Nationals MLARR – UGX 750,000 (Plus Field work fee UGX 600,000)
GIS – UGX 750,000 (Plus Field work fee UGX 300,000)
CAD – UGX 750,000 (Plus Field work fee UGX 300,000)
Internationals $600 (For any of the above courses)

Application Fee: UGX 52,875/= Bank charges inclusive
